About the Event:
Drum circles in school is a fun, experiential activity that promotes multi-cultural learning.
It builds self confidence, and social abilities. It helps with motor skills, (processing information – observe-listen-perform) and boosts creativity; It even helps to teach them some basic mathematics. The drum rhythms are in time signatures, so math is taught without actually teaching it. It’s done in the process of just playing the drums, and having fun.
Drumming teaches them more focused listening, concentration, and about reaching goals.
Plus, it’s an activity parents can enjoy with their children or grandchildren for family bonding and relationship.
Drum circle comes from ancient time which is about the dynamic interaction of musical and personal relationship, it can help direct you and your kids to your highest musical potential, creating a natural fun and exciting musical eXperience while enabling an individual and little one to merge comfortably into a social communication setting to promote their social skills.
All Kids are born to love music and creative, they like to write songs, express themselves, and make up rhythms to play to. Let’s don’t hold on their creativity, take this opportunity to unleash their full potential and soar without boundaries!
P.S. Don’t worry, even if you might think that you are rhythmically challenged. Just get started and you will find rhythms and excitement inside of you that you didn’t know you had 🙂
