Event Description
Our holiday programme is available in 3 themes, all of which with the aim of helping your child to speak and write in English with confidence.
Enterprise (3-day course)
Transform your child’s reading, writing and speaking skills as they become young entrepreneurs. During these workshops, students will work together to create ideas for a new business or product. They will learn how to use language creatively to convince others of the benefits of their ideas. They will complete a variety of fun and motivating tasks that encourage them to think critically and work effectively with others. They will gain valuable enterprise skills and the confidence to speak and write like an expert.
Time travel (5-day course)
Transform your child’s reading, writing and speaking skills by sending them travelling through time. Your child will ‘travel through time’ from the past to the future. They will receive expert input on how to write and speak like a professional. They will study and research motivating topics from the dinosaurs and ancient civilisations to the future of technology and will showcase what they have learned by giving presentations and writing reports, articles and essays. They will have fun and learn to read, write and speak like a pro.
Young journalists (5-day course)
Transform your child’s reading, writing and speaking skills by making them a journalist for a week. Your child will receive expert tuition on how the professionals read, write and speak. They will be trained to conduct interviews, give presentations, write reports, articles and opinion pieces. Through exciting and motivating topics combined with tips and tricks from the specialists, your child will learn to read, write and speak like an expert.
