An All-New Curriculum (Gen 8)
Our REAL Kids’ in-house-developed curriculum (Gen 8) focuses on six areas of development and Multiple Intelligences or MI-based learning, namely:

Supporting physical, social, and emotional development – covering areas of Physical Health & Well being. Hence, developing individuals’ bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, and intrapersonal intelligences

Shaping leaders through civic mindedness and character building – this cultivates children’s
intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligences through Character Building and Civic subjects

Promoting communication and life skills – consisting of Nature & Play that incorporates the MI elements of naturalist-environmentalist, verbal-linguistic, interpersonal and bodily-kinesthetic intelligences

Basing on the Theory of Multiple Intelligences; MI Approach is REAL Kids’ main teaching approach that incorporates other fundamental Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) best pedagogies such as:

Project-based Learning (PBL) (both experiential and play-based) – facilitating collaborative, hands-on activities that allows for active participation; as well as promoting curiosity, Higher Order Thinking Skills(HOTS), and problem-solving capabilities through active inquiries and explorations

Integrated Learning (mastery of basic skills) – making learning interconnected and relevant to the real world; while developing literacy, social, creative, and physical skills that are essential to lifelong learning

Blended Learning (multiple modalities) – comprising various instructional materials that cater to MI based learning and provide multi-faceted learning experiences. This includes incorporating technology for reinforcement via e-learning, gamified learning, and others

Beyond Classroom Learning (outdoor & nature) – with learning not just taking place in classrooms, we also conduct play and active learning activities through sensory stimulation and exploration of the natural environment. This empowers learners to build up their sense of motivation and independence

Individualisation & Pluralisation (contextualisation) – this allows us to be responsive to students’ individual needs, strengths, and interests while being flexible and creative with instructional pedagogies that reach every learner.
