YGLR, Sri Petaling (Pusat Jagaan Cahaya Li Ren) offers a warm atmosphere designed to inspire positive play and social interactions for children aged three to six years. The school takes elements from the “Sunshine Li Ren” curriculum and pairs it with locally appropriate practices to prepare children for primary school and beyond. Nestled in the residential area of Taman Sri Endah, YGLR Sri Petaling is a brightly coloured facility with large outdoor areas that are matted and filled with a variety of gross motor equipment, which are all hallmarks of a YGLR school. Being a centre that emphasises learning through activities, play and outdoor exploration, there are many facilities that allow children to discover new concepts and new possibilities. The facilities include outdoor playground, aquaponics, little garden, wishy-washy land, carefully prepared indoor learning spaces with learning corners, library, messy art area, as well as spaces for sand and water play.

For the convenience of working parents, the school offers full day programmes and day care services, well as long operating hours (7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.). They are open all year-round including over the school holidays, which is conducive to a consistent environment for children to develop good habits. The daily schedule includes allocated time slots for formal education, after-school activities, nap, and mealtimes.
