Join us for our first STOP MOTION ANIMATION WORKSHOP!

– Saturday, 25 Mar, 1:30-2:30 PM
– Sunday, 26 Mar, 12:30-1:30 PM

Stop motion animation is the art of turning a succession of still images into video which gives the sensation of actual movement. Creating a stop motion video is a great learning experience for children. It teaches IT skills alongside trial and error and patience and gives them huge scope for creativity and pride in their finished results. Children of all ages can join. For the younger ones they will create a painting and then use the Stop Motion software (with teachers help!) to create the short movie! This activity is aimed at children between 5 and 9 years old. An hour long, this activity is free of charge!

Join us for PICASSO CUBISM ART WORKSHOP!

– Saturday, 25 Mar, 2:30-3:30PM
– Sunday, 26 Mar, 3:30-4:30PM

This weekend our Art Workshop is focused on children learning about Picasso’s Cubism.

Guided by our worksheets they show a range of animals created in a cubist style, with plenty of geometric shapes to make the image more abstract. Children can colour the images using felt tips, coloured pencils or paints. These images will make an eye-catching and colourful classroom display to support an art topic on cubism or Pablo Picasso. This activity is free of charge and aimed at young children over 4 years old.
